TollPlus is Head Quartered in Chandler, AZ and its Software Development Competence Center located in Hyderabad, India. The company has over 120 employees and is growing quickly to address the market needs.

2. BACKGROUND TO THE POSITION AND STRUCTURE            

As part of growth strategy, TollPlus has identified the need to recruit a Business Development Manager to address the blooming ETC Market in India.
The proposed role will be reporting to directly to CEO and assist him in Business Development Activities in Indian Market. The proposed role will develop and nurture strong relationships with various ETC stakeholder like Banks, Govt and Toll Agencies.
The position requires prior experience in India Tolling Market & Highways industry as well as familiarity and exposure towards Software Product Engineering. Prior experience with Banks is preferred. The person will be stationed in Mumbai and may need to travel to Delhi and Hyderabad occasionally.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION                                    

Key responsibilities:
Business Development
Prospect for potential new clients and turn into increased business.
Build and nurture a strong network of contacts within the tolling industry, including prospective customers, consultants, prospective joint venture partners, prospective supply chain partners, governmental and regulatory agencies, etc.
Remain knowledgeable of Toll market and industry trends, competitors, and all aspects of the market.
Represent the TollPlus at various community activities; Meet and network regularly with business leaders in the community
Develop and Implement the TollPlus Marketing and Branding plans for India
Identify upcoming needs and requests for Proposals, Requests for Qualifications, Requests for Quotations, etc., from relevant Transportation and Highways authorities, Banking industry and other stakeholders in active markets throughout India market.
Work closely with the Business Development/Technology/Delivery/Presales teams to develop Commercial and Technical responses and proposals that position the company to successfully close business with a focus on margins and profitability.
Actively contributes to the contract negotiations until a final agreement is reached.
Track various Customer Engagements and provide required support to the Delivery Managers.
Build Long term and End to End relationship with Customers, Partners and Third Party Agencies.

4. PERSON SPECIFICATION                                    
Education & Qualifications

University degree in Engineering
MBA or Masters in Public Administration or Business Administration will be desirable

Business and Industry Knowledge
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Public Transportation Domain
Successful track record in India Tolling Market and/or Banking market
Experience in Business Development Activities
Strong CRM Capabilities
Strong Networking, Persuasion skills
