Senior Software Engineer - II -  Apps/Solutions/Integrations Development
Location - Noida

Build state of the art content, integrations and solutions providing Sumo Logic customers with insights on the health of operations and/or security posture of their infrastructure & services. The Apps and Integrations team is responsible for providing “out of the box” Apps, solutions and integrations that customers leverage from day 1 of their Sumo Service experience. These items are a major factor why customers adopt Sumo and gain immediate leverage from day 1.

Responsibilities

• Design & develop content such as dashboards, monitors / alerts and searches for the Sumo Logic platform to provide security detection, monitoring, and analytics capabilities for our customers
• Design, Develop next-gen observability solutions for AWS, Kubernetes, GenAI
• Design, Develop and maintain API integrations / Open Integration Framework
• You also will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable integrations covering APIs, MCP’s and serverless models.
• You will be responsible for increased AI tools and platform usage to drive productivity and velocity.
• Work with several groups within the company (product management, product engineering, customer service, sales engineering, tech docs) as well as customers and technical partners to improve overall customer experience and product quality. 
• Manage the product development lifecycle from requirements through development, testing, documentation and public release.
• Build team bonding and technically mentor team members

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 6-10 years of industry experience, with a proven track record of leading complex technical projects and cross-team initiatives. 
• You are familiar with log management, or observability platforms with exposure to threat detection.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the: major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), automation frameworks (Puppet/Chef), Docker, API integrations, terraform, kubernetes
• Hands-on exposure of AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Functions, Cloud RBAC - AWS IAM roles, policies and permissions.
• Handson experience on various AI tools and techniques will be an advantage (ChatGPT, Gemini, Github Copilot, Claude code, Codex, Cursor, Agent Frameworks like Langgraph), MCP.
• Good to have exposure to one or more of the AWS cloudformation, helm chart, open telemetry
• Experience writing scripts in at least one of the following languages: Python, Node.js, Unix shells. 
• Good exposure in any Object Oriented Language (JAVA, Golang, Scala), CI/CD Tools, git actions, jenkins automation, jira, confluence, pytest, linters
• Good command on Unit test frameworks, test automation frameworks.
• Manage the product development lifecycle from requirements, design, development, unit / integration testing, documentation and public release.
• Work closely with product management, engineering teams and technical writers to improve overall customer experience and product quality. 
• Excellent debugging, problem solving and analytical skills. Experience in designing scalable designs / products.
• Excellent communication skills and able to represent the team to internal and external facing teams. 
• Nice to have AWS certifications for Associate Solution Architect / Developer / Professional, Open Source contributions.
