Job Description for SAP ISU Lead Solution Architect
¡ Title: SAP ISU Lead Solution Architect

¡ Leads and applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues in SAP in specific, focusing on solutions that support multiple domains and multiple processes.
¡ 10+ years of experience as an SAP ISU Lead/SAP ISU Solution Architect
¡ 10+ years of SAP Utilities experience in implementing solution for Power, Gas, Water industries.
¡ 3+ full implementation life cycles in SAP Utilities including 1 mega-size implementation.
¡ Ability to define and articulate technical solution, products and technologies insupport of SAP implementations, migrations, e.g. ERP, CRM, Netweaver, BI, BOBJ etc.
¡ Deep tech knowledge of SAP products and solutions on IS-Utilities, CRM, AMI, Hybris, Mobile solutions.
¡ Strong experience in SAP IS-Utilities (Device management, Billing, Energy data management, FICA, Customer service), Smart Metering, Enterprise portal, UCES, Workflow and integration with 3rd party systems.
¡ Experience working with both synchronous and asynchronous real-time applicationintegration technologies (for example SOAP, ReST, JMS) etc
¡ Knowledgeable in implementing SAP within a production Data Centre and interfacingwith IT best practices and standards.
¡ Ability to lead functional and technical teams or work independently as an integral team member or virtually, as required.
¡ Experience in Solution Performance Analysis and Capacity Planning.
¡ Experience working with Waterfall and/or Agile software development lifecycle
¡ Project management methodologies and operation methodologies including ITIL
¡ Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues, and is regarded as a subject matter expert.
¡ Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
¡ Collaborate with the business to understand and influence business requirements
¡ Work with Application Solutions Design, project boards, finance departments and operations departments to ensure that proposed solutions meet business objectives and required service levels
¡ Demonstrate strong understanding of cross-functional/cross-domain requirements and impacts
¡ Develop creative, robust, scalable, and reusable strategies to support business needs
¡ Demonstrate strong functional and technical problem solving skills
¡ Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends
¡ Ensure cross-company alignment of solutions needed by the business to IT goals and
¡ Identify and quantify scope and impact of business changes on IT systems and
¡ Facilitate, lead, and participate in identification of solution options and features
¡ Evaluation of H/W and Application component requirements
¡ Communicate solution options to business owners and stakeholders via in-person
and/or virtual reviews
¡ Incorporate software and system architecture tools and infrastructure into conceptual solution design
¡ Design at a very detailed level, systems and solutions using a sophisticated mix of SAP application components.
¡ Ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards, including but not limited to:
¡ solution patterns, application frameworks, technology roadmaps, and infrastructure
¡ Identify gaps between established standards and proposed solutions
¡ Maintain awareness of current technology assets across the domain subject matter
¡ Develop operational manuals and train the operations team
¡ Conduct meetings with senior and executive management and share progress and
seek feedback and direction if necessary
¡ Provide guidance and leadership to solution designers in translating requirements
into functional specifications
¡ Capture and document HLDs, LLDs, SOWs, project implementation plans, support
Key skills and required qualifications:
¡ Basic qualification is Masters or equivalent.
¡ Possess excellent communication, writing and presentation skills; Works effectively under pressure and proactively as a functional project manager or as a team leader
¡ Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
¡ Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
¡ Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
