Job Description :

  • Able to do manual testing and automated test scripts and perform automated tests
  • Provide clear bug description and useful debugging information, ideally for a complex system containing several moving parts.
  • Identify opportunities to minimize manual work and thereby increase the quality of the product.
  • create test plans and suites from the user stories defined by product owners.
  • Review test plans and cases with developers and product owners.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Automate the test plan, make them a repeatable process (scripts) for each code check-in.
  • Make sure the automated test coverage is as high as possible, and fill in the gaps with documented manual testing.
  • Understanding of the Agile Software Development model and the role of QA/Test within this model
  • Integrate the tests into CI (Continuous Integration) builds.
  • Be responsible for certifying each build that goes out to production.
  • Experience in scripting languages (Python preferred/PERL, linux/unix shell)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
